  • This is the Learning Facilitation area and is the main area on Boracay for self-directed group meetings. Boracay group members have a lot of seating arrangements and tools here available on demand including display screens for pictures, video and even drawing. There are also tools such as chat recorders, question queueing, Google, Wikipedia and English synonym searching! Seating arrangements go from a small table with up to 20 searts, with 24 seaters and up an auditorium type seating with a stage if the small groups want to present to larger audiences.   • This is the landing point for Boracay. Here you will find a welcome board with a clickable link to the Boracay wiki. Next to it is a tour HUD for places in Second Life. There is also a map of Boracay will buttons of the locations so you can teleport to wherever you want. To the right of the map, is a small picture teleporter and these are all over the key places on the island. Boracay is a mix of learning and fun with art, music, games and sports. So remember to relax and enjoy yourself for some of the time! (teleport)
  • This is an exhibition space for education-related tour exhibits and student project exhibits. You can click on the picture of an exhibit and the exhibition stands will appear. You can then walk around the exhibit to see what interests you. When you find something of interest, click on the pic to have a choice of one or more of getting information, traveling to the location via the map, getting a landmark, visiting a related website or perhaps seeing a student project!   • This is the outdoor stage and is an area meant for outdoor events such as live concerts and mixed reality events. It doubles as a nice outdoor cafe area most of the time .. go grab a coffee, take a seat and look our over the ocean! (teleport)
  • This is an indoor cinema and was created with the idea of showing student created videos such as digital storytelling videos and machinima (videos created in Second Life). Below the red video screen, you will see a small pic of the screen. If you click on this, seating will appear for you automatically. If the fills up, then another row of seats will appear automatically. If you walk behind the screen, you will find a balcony over the sea where you can chat and have drinks in the intermissions!   • This podcast piazza contains seven stations where small groups and individuals can listen to audio podcasts. At one station, people can also watch video podcasts and at another you can read blogs, check a Google calendar and book areas with the Google calendar. You can also drop photos you have taken onto a photo board. Great for student projects and field trips! (teleport)
  • Here at the top of the snowy mountain, you will find a number of sports including hanggliding, skiing and snowboarding. You can also have extra snow if needed! One experience not to be missed is skydiving! Pick up a free parachute and then walk through the trees to the right of the board and you will find the skydiving pod. Make sure you wear your parachute first though! (teleport)
  • In the skybox meeting room, you will find a large circular table and chairs for holding more private group meetings. It is 250 meters up and is a nice, secluded place for those important meetings! (teleport)
  • This is the Boathouse. Here you will find windsurfers, boats, canoes and jet skis to use. If you are in a group, there are up to 20 windsurfers and even more jetskis. Plenty for everyone! Watch out for the marine life here and have a swim underwater to see the coral reef which has lots of marine life! You can pick up a scuba diving set before you go down to the coral reef! (teleport)
  • Between the boardwalk and the Beach Hut, you will find two stargates. These are portals to other places in Second Life and you can choose a random desitination. This is a great way to explore Second Life and a fun task that people really enjoy. (teleport)
  • This is the Beach Hut. A nice to sit and relax or you can walk down to the beach and go surfing, kiteboarding or jump off the dive board! You can always just relax on the small beach too and chat with friends .. or inside or outside the hut. (teleport)
  • This boardwalk is for taking strolls by the side of the ocean. When you get to the boathouse, stay on the boardwalk for a bit and listen out for whale song and you might spot a whale too! (teleport)
  • The Multipurpose Skyplatform, as its name suggests, serves a number of functions. It is a sandbox area where you can try your hand at creative building and scripting. There are building tutorials there which you can have appear at a mouse click. You can also change it from a sandbox to a disco with lighting and music .. or turn it into an ice rink and pick up free skates and go skating! Work and have fun all the one flexible space! (teleport)
